The Jackson family Christmas was fun. Morgan played with her crazy cousins. She sure loves her cousin C.J. who held her as they watched Aunt Stevie and Uncle Matt play a Wii boxing game.

Christmas Eve in Missouri

Morgan had a lot of fun playing with her Grandma and Grandpa. She got a lot of really nice toys and some clothes. She enjoys reading her Grandma's "educational" books as well.

Singing?

Morgan is not only very active but she is very loud. She loves to be the center of attention. You will see she enjoys singing very much. I haven't figured out what song she is singing though....

Fighting Childhood Obesity!

I tried to get on the treadmill one day with Morgan in the room. She thought the treadmill was really cool, she just had to try it out. She still gets on it everytime we go to the basement. She walks on it whether I turn it on or not. I wish I felt that way about it!

The Holidays Are Here!

We have had a busy week with going to see Santa, Morgan eating her first turkey dinner, and going to the Christmas tree farm. Morgan also saw Frosty the Snowman but he scared the you know what out of her so no pictures of that. We hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Big Weekend

We had a big weekend, Grandpa Jackson and Uncle Matt's family all came to stay the weekend. On Sunday the Fudge's all came for dinner. The first picture is of Great Grandma Fudge with all of her grandkids and great-grandkids. The next picture is of Morgan and her Aunt Stevie. Stevie is the only one who Morgan allowed to hold her besides her mommy, daddy, and cousin C.J. As you can see in the last picture everyone was tuckered out after the whole group left Sunday night.

Talking

Morgan is really starting to talk. She has quite the vocabulary. She is very expressive when she talks, she gets into what she saying and waves her hands around and sticks her neck out. I wonder where she gets that!?!? She is saying words such as no, uh oh, umm, nummy, what, down, sit, etc. In the video she says my two favorite words of hers, please and thank you. You have to listen pretty close to hear please but she does say it. She is becoming a little girl very quickly. I love almost every part of this stage. We call Daddy almost every day with something new that she is doing.

Star Babies Swim Class

Morgan and I started a class called Star Babies. It is a swim class for children ages 6 months to 3 years. We sing songs and do the movements in the water such as The Hokie Pokie. Morgan absolutely loves it and every week she gets a little braver. Last night was our 3rd week and she was putting her face down towards the water and kicking water all over me! She will be a little fish like her mommy was.

I'm a Duck!

Morgan attended her very first Halloween party yesterday afternoon. My Mom's Club had a little party for all the kids. I spent about 15 hours making this little costume and she wore it for about 15 minutes. Oh

well, she was a hit. Elmo is her little buddy, Hayden. Have a Happy Halloween!

The McClintock's came to visit us this weekend. We had a lot of fun at an apple orchard. There was a little petting zoo and a pumpkin patch as well. We had a great weekend. It was fun watching Collin and Morgan, they didn't really play together but it was cute to see how they reacted to each other and how little Morgan is compared to Collin.

Playing Catch with Daddy!

Morgan loves to play catch. I think that makes her Daddy very happy. Notice the coughing during the video, she fake coughs until her Daddy does it back to her, apparently then she knows he is paying his full attention to her! She is something!

Petting Farm

Morgan and I went with some other moms from our Mom's Club to a petting farm yesterday. Morgan enjoyed seeing the animals and playing at their park. She was probably sick of the camera in her face though!?!?

Dancing!

This is hard to see but if you can tell Morgan likes to dance. All you have to say is dance and she starts to bop up and down.

Stair Master

There is no fear of anything right now. Morgan will climb all the way up the stairs and has no problems stopping to pose for a picture. What happened to my little baby that just stayed where I put her?

Walking Baby!

Morgan is officially a walker now. She just started taking off last week and now nothing is safe!

Grandpa's Little Helper

Grandpa Cass came and helped us get the water out of our basement. Once it was almost dry Morgan wanted to help Grandpa vacuum.

Morgan is quite the "talker". She keeps me entertained. Her favorite thing to do is to call attention to herself if anyone should dare pass her by without commenting to her about how cute she is. At the grocery store she grins and smiles as people stop and remind me that she has red hair but if they don't look at her they get an ear full from her as they walk by.

Poor Baby!

Morgan and Mommy took a little spill last week. After a few x-rays we found that Morgan didn't break her arm but it did take several days for her to use it. She is using it fine now but boy did Mommy feel bad. She made sure she could get around even without using her arm. She is taking more and more steps everyday but still is a "walker".

9 Month Photos

Morgan had her 9 month photos taken. These are just some that we liked.

Daddy and Morgan have fun playing with Caddy. Morgan loves Caddy and is constantly bugging her. Caddy puts up with it very well, if she gets annoyed she just gets up and moves. She really appreciates the food that Morgan shares with her. I caught Morgan teasing Caddy this morning with her breakfast, she would put it down and then quick pull it back up so Caddy could get a whiff but not a taste. (I hope!)

4th of July

Morgan and I had a great time over the 4th. We kept very busy by going to the pool, hanging out with the DeVores, visiting with many people, and playing with the Jacksons. We loved getting to spend time with C.J. and Brady. Morgan played with their cars and loved every minute of it. She enjoyed all the little kids we hung around.

Now that we are back home she is getting back into the swing of things. However, her first tooth just popped through this morning so she is a little grouchy. At last she is getting teeth!
