Grandpa Was Here

My dad came up for Thanksgiving.  He got to spend some time playing with the girls.  I thought this picture was too cute not to share.

Getting our Tree

 We picked out a Christmas tree last weekend.  Luckily we did it before the temperature dropped so low. We are slowly freezing up here! Where is that global warming when you need it?

 As you can see we had lots of fun picking it out and having dad cut it down.  We just got it decorated today, a whole week later...

Morgan's Piano Recital

Morgan had her piano recital today.  She NAILED it.  You can hear Maya cheering for her!  I took out all the applause. : )

Learning New Things Every Day!!

I can't believe how fast this last year has gone.  I remember last November thinking this baby would never get here and now she is walking and repeating sounds and actions back to us.  She has a great personality and is generally very happy.  She has had a ton of ear infections and still somehow is my best sleeper.  She gets up once a night but heck Miranda still wakes up more than that and Morgan is somehow in my bed most mornings.  We have a lot of fun with Miss Maya, the girls adore her and some how she has survived being fallen on, bitten, dropped, etc...  poor girl.

There is always one that doesn't cooperate when trying to take a good picture, it is usually Miranda.  I still thought they were cute and worth sharing.

Middle Kid...

Miranda started preschool two weeks ago.  She was very excited about it until she saw Morgan get on the bus for Kindergarten and then being taken to preschool by Mom wasn't quite good enough.  I was worried she would cry when I left, but she didn't care.  She gets to do all the things her big sister has been doing the last 2 years.  She is in gymnastics and also goes to a fitness class for preschoolers.  She loves it.  She is still overly energetic but she is getting a great sense of humor.  She makes me laugh a lot, mostly at things a 3 year old shouldn't be saying or doing but she is my child.  

 First Dentist Appointment!!!! How exciting!

I Want a Little Sister!

Miranda was so excited for Morgan today, she only asked once if she could ride the bus, I explained she could when she was five and she was over it.  Having Morgan come home from her first day of school was super exciting!  Let's hope they always love each other this much!
