Miranda thinks her sister is the funniest person on the face of this earth, most of the time. We are sure enjoying them both, when they are happy! HA!

I can't even believe this but Miranda is able to move about 10 from where I left her. She is up on all 4's now. She is also able to sit up on her own... where does the time go?

A Mermaid Halloween

The girls were mermaids for Halloween. Morgan got to wear her costume 2 times. She and I went with the neighbors to a Halloween parade and then she wore it trick or treating. Dave and Amanda came to visit us Halloween weekend (2 years from the weekend they met at our house) and Dave made jack-o-lanterns with Morgan. We were all very impressed in his carving skills. Trick or treating was a little chilly and Morgan struggled in her high heels she insisted on wearing, but we made it and all probably gained a pound or two!

B-day presents!!

3 going on 13

So, I am a "little" behind... if you think this is bad I have Thank You's to write from back in July! Ugh!

Morgan had a fabulous 3rd birthday. We went to a Pumpkin Barn where they had corn mazes, a haunted house, bouncy houses, and a ton of things to keep the kids entertained. She wanted an Ariel, "Little Mermaid" themed party. Not sure how well that went with the Pumpkin Barn, but she is the boss. She was a little intimidated by the singing and all the kids helping her with her presents. Overall it was a great day.

Party in the USA

I guess you are never to young to enjoy Mylie Cyrus! Our neighbors are a ton of fun and the little boy and Morgan will be trouble for us in a few years. The other night Morgan was standing outside his bedroom window and he was talking to her through the screen... kind of cute for now!

Sharing Thumbs...

I have two thumb suckers and how nice of Morgan to share her thumb with Miranda! Miranda loves to suck her thumb so much that she sometimes puts both thumbs in at the same time.

We love the sun (with appropriate hats and sunblock of course)!

The girls have been enjoying being outside and Morgan loves to fill her sandbox up with water since we haven't put any sand in it this year. Miranda likes to watch her sister and her friends playing. She hangs out in the back of the van in the garage and giggles at the kids. Poor Morgan has to be sprayed down with sunscreen and the other kids look at her like what is your mother doing to you. She is so fair skinned, although she has her first set of tan (red) lines. Guess I need to apply the sunscreen a little more often. I bet we've gone through 3 bottles of sunscreen this summer... that isn't including what Jesse has used.

Rolling Over....

Yeah, she rolled over from tummy to back. Jesse says she rolls over from her back to tummy but I haven't seen it.

Morgan and Miranda really like each other. Miranda smiles almost everytime her sister is around, sometimes she gets a little overwhelmed by her. Like we all do! : )

County Fair

We went to the county fair a few weeks ago and Morgan got to ride a few rides and we saw a wild animal show. She is still asking to the "fairia".

We had a photographer come to the house and take pictures of the girls. Morgan didn't cooperate with much, especially the photos of her and her sister together. These are my favorites out of 700 photos!

Introducing.... Morgan's little sister, Miranda

Morgan is a big sister. She is pretty good about it and loves to hold her little sister. She has her moments but for the most part she is doing very well. Morgan struggles with the name Miranda. She can say Randa but prefers, Erika. She told three different people today that her sister's name was Erika. It has been 2 weeks!
